Degenrative disk disease, Diabetes and High cholesterol

My struggles with health issues have driven me more to write this article and share some of the things that are going on in my life at this time. Being 42 yrs old should not have been this way and I don't think that it was the way our creator thought it should be but, for the last 15 yrs of my life I have allowed my health to go down hill and now I am paying the price.
I was diagnosed with degenerative disk disease about two yrs ago after suffering with low back pain for the last 5 yrs. After many different types of meds and physical therapy I have started to find some ways to deal with the constant pain though it is still there every minute of every day. This will be something I will have to deal with for the rest of my life. Last month I was diagnosed with diabetes and was put on some pills that I have to take twice daily now so another bad mark on my health. I was also told that I have high cholesterol. So for the last month I have been trying to change a lot of the things I do to myself and try to get back into some sort of good health by first changing my diet. I now watch what I eat in terms of sugar intake and fat intake and calorie intake. At first I was like this can't be happening to me but once I figured out that it was and that it was up to me to make the changes I have been able to implement them into my everyday routine. I hope to be able to report soon that things have started to change back to the good health that we all strive for.
